The `First Edition Zoybar Hardware Kit` Competition has ended!

Zoybar is an open platform, anyone can join.
There is no need to order or use a Zoybar kit to enter this competition!
However this competition is relevant only to those who hack, mod or create music instruments, synth and
self made sound effect.
We would like to encourage developers to share their ideas by providing this platform and by giving three First Edition Zoybar Hardware Kits.

Entrants shall submit a video clip performance of their new instrument to demonstrate its musicality, design, and engineering features. Performances may include new self made Sound effects, synthesizer or electronic instruments.
They may also include multimedia elements such as video, animation, graphics, text, hydraulics, dance, or acting.
The performed work may be composed by anyone and can be in any musical style.
The duration should be between 2 and 10 minutes.
Embedded videos cannot be ranked!.

Be as elaborate as you can, describe the instrument’s musicality, design, and engineering features.
Don’t forget to give credits for those who lend a hand or participated in your video.
You can also use the Zoybar Project feature as a group administrator and interact with your own forum, members and rich media content platform.

ALL ENTRANTS WILL PRESERVE THEIR COPYRIGHTS

A. General Overview
a. Competition begins at December 01, 2008.
b. Upload your performance of your original self made sound effect or your unique music instrument in a video clip format.
c. Uploads are not viewable on the site for the first 3 weeks.
d. You can enter as many clips as you like to the competition (the more the better).
e. Videos will be viewable from December 22, 2008.
f. Three winning videos by their highest video view count will win a first edition Zoybar hardware kit.

B. Competition Stages
a. December 01, 2008 11:59 am, GMT: video clip submissions begin.
b. December 22, 2008 11:59 am, GMT: viewing, rating period. (submissions continue)
c. January 12, 2009 11:59 pm, GMT: End of Community voting. Three videos with the highest view count will be announce.

C. Rating
a. The 3 winners will be selected by their highest video view count. In case of a tie the video clip with the most comments would     win.
b. Zoybar.net preserves the right to reward more participants for unique creations and rich informative presentation content.
c. The 3 winners are selected by the community video view counter system and by the amount of response (comments) they     receive.

D. Prizes
The Three winning video submissions will win a Zoybar six strings kit.
Winner(s) will be announced based on the highest number of views received through the video interaction at Zoybar.net.

E. Submission & Registration
a. Register to Zoybar.net (make sure to confirm your participation in the contest at your profile setting).
b. Uploading your video to Zoybar.net will be considered as an agreement to the terms & rules of the Zoybar Hardware     competition and web site.
