Zoybar

I am going to be picking up my Zoybar next month, and I want to mount a 22.5" fretted neck to the Zoybar.

I don't actually have the Zoybar yet, but I just want to do as much research as possible before I finally get it.

I'm a little confused because it looks like the Zoybar six string package comes with the fretless neck (481mm or 18.936 inches). Does mounting a 22.5" fretted neck come with any mounting, intonation or tuning issues?

Also, I'm confused on wheter or not I am able to mount a complete neck on the Zoybar; like a neck from Warmoth:

Or, do you only mount a fretted fingerboard on top of the long metal profile?

What about a truss rod? How does that play into?

Thanks!

Um, you can't use a complete ready made neck, you'll have to alter it to a degree that it won't make sense.
I recommend making your own. I downloaded their drawings and made a replica of their neck with a Flat Ebony Fingerboard like StewMac supply.

Also there is no room for a truss rod since the neck is mounted on the Zoybar profile.
Thanks Papa, good advice.

I noticed this fretted Zoybar doesn't have a nut. Is there a need for a nut on the fretted neck? What do you think some of the pro's and/or con's might be with mounting a fretted neck with a nut?

No there is always a nut, you use their original Zoybar nut:

the neck is a separate part so you can change different necks using the same nut.
