- I've loved music since and early age, been playing keyboards for over 20 years, writing music for almost as long. I now play bass guitar, guiat and keys. I write music in many many styles, including Funk, Rock, Goth, Minimal electronic and electronic.

About Vaco Loco
Me, well, I'm a synth geek, I love music, all music without exception.
I love playing music, writing it and building instruments.
I've built a bass guitar and many many synths. The most well known of my projects is the Monowave.
GorF is my first MIDI controller, it's a simple 8 step sequencer. each step has a variable length, note, velocity, legato mode and can send two different CC's. In the both demos one CC is controlling cut off, in the V0.19 demo the 2nd CC is controlling resonance. In the V0.13 demo the second CC is controlling the wavenumber of the Monowave II sound skin I developed for the Sound Art Chameleon, which is a DSP version of the original Monowave.
GorF will be 100% open source (GPLv3), the schematics are already available on my site, and a prototype PCB (100mm by 80mm) has been ordered, once I've built it using this PCB and confirmed it works, the PCB files and code will be published so others can build one and tinker with the code to suit their own needs.
I've built a few other projects, including MIDI to CV converters, MIDI -> Trigger modules, these and the Monowave are already in the public domain, so people can build their own. Now, you can even buy kits of these projects from various places.
II hope that by giving these projects to the community it will encourage people to develop their ideas and create new things I can't even imagine!
